Teachers and Tutors Working Together

Our all-volunteer tutors include retired teachers, students at Arcadia University who are studying to become teachers, and motivated Cheltenham community members. The training that our tutors receive is planned and delivered with School District collaboration. Our volunteers and program have been honored by the school district, NAACP, and Montgomery County. The support of the school district, Arcadia University, the Cheltenham NAACP, and Congregation Adath Jeshurun make this free tutoring service available.

We encourage you to stop by and see how your students are progressing during the tutoring sessions. Please see your Vice Principal with specific suggestions on how to improve our services and/or to recommend students for this program.

If you have questions about Cheltenham Academics, please contact us by email or call us at (267) 536-9793.
